About Us

Welcome!
Hello, my name is Delores P. Scott. I am the Founder and CEO of The Training Station. My journey with childcare began out of necessity as a single mother who could not afford traditional childcare services. It deeply saddened me that I could not provide my daughter with an early childhood education while I pursued higher education and better employment opportunities. Although I had to leave college early to care for my daughter, I successfully earned an associate degree in general studies. Additionally, I have completed over 15 years of continuing education courses through the State of Michigan and MiRegistry.

Mission
Our mission is to serve a proudly diverse group of families and their children. We provide an inclusive, loving and safe environment for children’s development and work daily to introduce them to the beautiful cultures that make up our community. We also provide the highest quality care and education of children that is child-centered, holistic and values all children as individuals. We give our children an opportunity to grow without limits.
